A warm welcome to our interactive Digital Pathology Repository (iDPR).
The iDPR educational resource is an interactive Pathology e-learning tool containing 2-Dimensional (2D) and 3-Dimensional (3D) virtual high-resolution images of gross pathology and histopathology of the female genital tract. It serves as a learning resource to reinforce pathology self-study at individual convenience (esp. clinical years of medical school and also for interns / house officers).
This application was developed as part of the Dr. WAN Ken Lee’s Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) project under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arkendu Sen, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lakshmi Selvaratnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khoo Joon Joon and Prof. Dr. Pathmanathan A Rajadurai.
Finally, the iDPR should offer a similar 3D learning experience as manipulating an actual specimen but without the need to physically visit a pathology museum.
